I am Scott Jensen. I have a BA in Literature.

I was once told that those who study literature are never bound to be “happy unthinking people” and that our tendency to over-think is bound to be the cause of much joy and much unhappiness in our lives. I believe, firmly, this was correct.  I over-think almost everything. I have decided to use this trait productively.

Since I have begun reinvigorating this blog I have found some measure of happiness has come with it.  I have also found that I am writing at least 8 hours a day.  I think the two are connected.

The scope of this blog is from the small-scale to the truly grand.  I hope to deal with pop culture, media, science and literature, among anything.  I love the way the study of literature causes its students to think and write about things, and I am hoping to bring that perspective to these issues.
